Contract Opportunity Immediate Start Growing Consulting Organisation Green Light is seeking an Experienced Microsoft Solution Architect with a proven track record in End-to-End Managed Services. The position is to provide oversight and deliver technology strategy and architecture across the whole enterprise and to develop the broader architecture community and Microsoft architecture practice. This role requires expertise in developing complex multi-stream managed services proposals and RFPs, as well as the ability to work independently with sellers to identify requirements, recommend solutions, and create managed services quotes, proposals, and statements of work. Responsibilities: Professional services and migration scenarios for key infrastructure platforms (Azure AD, AD Connect, DirectAccess, Express Route, Exchange / O365, PaaS). Create appropriate solution value proposition - mapping technical features to specific business benefits. Identify gaps in standard offering and propose alternatives to internal stakeholders for discussion and approval. Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment. Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community. Lead a cross-functional team that analyses, designs and implements architecture of projects to meet solution needs and leverages resources from different teams to ensure customer needs are met. Analyse new and existing architectures, research solutions, specify long term direction, and ensure engineering platforms meet reliability expectations to enhance customer satisfaction. Design overall system solution architecture, system integration and implementation strategy to deliver an integrated solution which meets customer needs. Serve as a technical expert for clients in system architectures to eliminate gaps and inconsistencies in the initial and new system architectures. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Project Management, Business Operations, Sales Support, General Managers, and technical SMEs to ensure solution alignment and customer success. Collaborate on managed services estimates, roadmaps, and proposals to ensure effective and profitable quoting of solutions. Requirements: MUST HAVE previous MSP Experience At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with operational / delivery experience desirable. Technical / vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Public Cloud, Networking, ITIL Foundation) (favourable). Experience with Office365 and Azure. Experience working with Windows Servers. Experience implementing and integrating Azure AD (AAD). Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge. Experience with Exchange Online. Experience with OneDrive for Business / Office 365 Groups / SharePoint Online. Experience with Microsoft Teams & Voice Solutions. Experience with Microsoft Intune.
