As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking a Solar and Air-Conditioning Sales Specialist to drive the sales of solar energy systems, air-conditioning solutions, and battery storage to residential and commercial customers. As an In-Home Representative for 1KOMMA5 Australia, you will be the face of the company, engaging directly with homeowners to educate them about the benefits of solar energy, air conditioning, and battery storage solutions. You will guide them through the process of transitioning to solar, assess their energy needs, and design tailored solutions that incorporate solar power, air conditioning, and battery storage, ensuring each solution meets the customer’s specific needs. This role provides a unique opportunity to help homeowners embrace sustainable energy and increase their energy efficiency. As a Solar and Air-Conditioning Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, conducting consultations, preparing proposals, and building long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-focused, and technically proficient in solar energy, air conditioning, and battery storage systems. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development : Identify and engage potential customers via inbound inquiries, referrals, and proactive outreach. Conduct on-site or virtual consultations to assess customer needs and recommend suitable solar and air-conditioning solutions. Prepare and present detailed quotes, proposals, and product demonstrations. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Customer Relationship Management : Develop and nurture long-term client relationships, serving as their primary point of contact. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and product questions professionally. Educate customers about solar energy and air-conditioning solutions, focusing on cost savings, environmental impact, and performance benefits. Technical Knowledge and Expertise : Stay up-to-date with the latest solar energy and air-conditioning technologies, industry trends, and government incentives. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and compliance of proposed solutions. Assist customers in understanding system designs, energy savings, and ROI calculations. Administrative and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and progress in CRM systems. Prepare regular sales reports for management, highlighting key achievements and opportunities for growth. Work with internal teams to ensure timely installation and delivery of products and services. Marketing and Promotion : Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to promote products and services. Contribute to the development of sales materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns. Experience : 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in solar energy, air-conditioning, or a related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Technical aptitude and the ability to explain solar and HVAC systems to customers. Proficiency in CRM software. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions: Full-time role (with occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate customer schedules).
