This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Business Services practice group, working with a range of commercial, not-for-profit and government clients. You will be part of an energetic team with direct access to a Principal and will have the opportunity to develop your skills across a broad range of interesting Commercial and Property matters. Key Responsibilities Assisting with / undertaking all aspects of commercial property transactions including negotiating terms, drafting contracts, attending to settlement and post settlement matters. Provide advice and guidance to clients on a range of commercial and property matters across a range of industries including local governments, education and small business clients. Drafting and negotiating various legal documents including contracts and service agreements. Conducting legal research and drafting advices to develop effective legal strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service. Mentor and assist in the development of junior team members. Role Requirements and Your Experience 1-4 years’ post admission experience with across a broad range of general commercial and property matters. Demonstrated experience acting in property transactions including specifically PEXA settlements and self-assessment of duty. A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound advice to clients. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
