Solicitor (General Practice) 2+ years PAE Seeking a passionate, committed, pro-active solicitor. About the role As a solicitor with Baldock Stacy & Niven, you'll be expected to manage a portfolio of clients and provide excellent legal advice in commercial law, litigation, employment, criminal, leasing and family law. You will need to stay up to date with changes in the legal landscape and be able to handle a high volume of cases. You will work with a high degree of autonomy and will act for a range of clients, including individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. A crucial element of your success in this role will be the desire to be part of a growing practice and to make a sizeable contribution to the firm’s success. In doing so you will be provided with the opportunity to cultivate and foster new business relationships. About you Relevant Legal Qualifications and must be admitted to practice and have a current NSW practising certificate. 2+ years' PAE. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with Office 365 and LEAP (but not essential) Experience in liaising with clients, taking instructions from clients, preparing statements and affidavits, undertaking extensive legal research, and providing written and verbal legal advice to clients.
