We are a specialised law practice dedicated to serving the general insurance industry and defendants in civil litigation claims. Our firm represents some of the largest insurers and ASX-listed companies in Australia. Our team consists of experienced senior lawyers who handle a range of complex and challenging work for insurers, corporations and government instrumentalities. Our lawyers are highly experienced and will provide mentorship to allow you to thrive. About the role: We are seeking a full time or part time motivated and enthusiastic Solicitor with 1 - 3 years PAE. We are open to considering solicitors with both plaintiff and defendant law firm experience. You will be involved in complex and sensitive litigated claims, and you will have the opportunity to work for a number of Principals and senior lawyers on a range of matters. The ideal candidate will: be client focused, have excellent time recording, communication and interpersonal skills, have a proven track record to work under urgent timeframes, have strong legal research and drafting skills, have the ability to multitask, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, have an appetite for business development and growth. Your key responsibilities will involve assisting the Principals and senior lawyers with the defence of liability claims in a number of fields. This will include drafting pleadings, drafting advices to clients, liaising with clients and attending Court. We offer a flexible working environment on productivity targets being met.
