As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional food to our valued patrons.Sandy's Kiosk is a barefoot eatery, offering a quick grab-and-go before hitting the waves or a leisurely dine-in experience, catering to a local walking passed, pre-event or spending the day in or pool-side, its serving up delicious options from sunup to sundown. Role Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in menu development and execution. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and teamwork. Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency. Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. What we would love from you: Prior experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. Aligned venues would be casual eateries like a Kiosk, Pub, Cafe experience, however if you're looking for a change of service we will explore all backgrounds. Strong culinary skills and a passion for food. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Knowledge of kitchen operations and best practices. Food safety and hygiene certification. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
