Our mission is to feed families globally, through premium quality products, exceptional service and sustainable practices About the Role: Thomas Foods International is seeking an experienced Southern Resourcing Manager to lead the recruitment strategy across our Murray Bridge, Lobethal and Stawell operations. Based in Lobethal you will oversee the full recruitment process, manage a team of recruitment professionals, and collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to drive talent acquisition across multiple departments while building a high-performing recruitment team. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Northern Resourcing Manager (NSW). Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job postings to onboarding. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the Southern recruitment team, setting clear goals and KPIs. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business units to understand talent needs and advise on best practices. Visa & Immigration Management: Lead recruitment efforts for visa holders and ensure compliance with immigration policies. Continuous Improvement: Assess and improve recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Employer Brand & Expos: Manage the company’s employer brand and represent Thomas Foods at career expos and recruitment events. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with recruitment laws and regulations, prepare regular reports on key metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate quality), and analyse data to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness. Budget and Resource Management: Ensure effective allocation of resources, approve and negotiate external agency and vendor contracts, and monitor cost efficiencies, recommending adjustments to recruitment activities as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in talent acquisition/recruitment management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline is desirable. Experience managing high-volume recruitment for multiple business units. Proven success in implementing recruitment strategies that align with business goals. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
