HammondCare North Turramurra is currently looking for several Permanent, Part-Time + a Casual Night Specialised Carers to join our team. We have modelled our lodges to feel like ‘home’ for the residents in our care. While no day is the same, you will be giving care in the following ways: Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting, dressing, pad changes Domestic assistance - meals, basic cleaning and laundry Engagement with the residents and family members, ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do. Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies. Personalised, dementia-focused care What’s on offer: We need staff who can reliably cover rosters across: Mornings and afternoons Weekdays - MUST HAVE MONDAY TO FRIDAY AVAILABILITY To be successful in this role, you will: Have a minimum of 1 year experience in Aged Care/Dementia Care Have knowledge of complex dementia care including challenging behaviours Able to use safe manual handling techniques and movements.
