Minimum Requirements: Hold, or be eligible to apply for, registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia Fellowship in Anaesthetics (FANZCA) or international equivalent Remuneration and Benefits: Total remuneration range (inclusive of superannuation) between $300k - $400k (AUD) Other additional payments include on call, recall, overtime and public holiday rates. 5 weeks annual leave and 2 weeks professional development leave $30,000 Annual Continuing Medical Education Support Reimbursement Once off domestic or international relocation package and other expense reimbursement In order to determine the level of remuneration package, each applicant will be individually assessed. If desirable, this can occur during the early stages of the recruitment process. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a specialist anaesthetist Evidence of ongoing professional development to continually update personal medical knowledge and skills Demonstrated ability to structure and supervise a Registrar in Anaesthesia Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective service interactions required in the operation of a busy anaesthetic service Good understanding of the clinical and quality requirements for anaesthetic service delivery Demonstrably superior interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently If you are interested in making a difference in an impactful role and experiencing the lifestyle that Regional Victoria has to offer, we want to hear from you.
