About the Role As part of the Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE), the Specialist Asset Management will support the execution of BHP Asset Management core deliverables across Fixed and Mobile Plant projects, including Electrification Strategic Priorities. Reporting to the Lead Asset Management, you will ensure that we deliver quality asset management systems and processes across Assets, Sites & Functions. This role will give you the opportunity to cultivate positive relationships through effective communication, feedback, and consultation across the BHP business. Your responsibilities: Provide specialist support with the deployment of lifecycle asset management principles and provide expertise and support to Assets, sites, and other stakeholders. Work with project manager and discipline leads to develop engagement strategy and maintenance readiness plans for Electrification strategic priorities. Support in quality and timely delivery of projects and report on progress. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and global document reviews for Repairable and Warranty standards and procedures. Manage external consultants to assure quality and timely delivery of project deliverables. Support continuous improvement of the Asset Management System. Strong participation as a vital member of the team across Safety and the BHP Operating System. If you have the following skills, get in touch: Ability to quickly build effective working rapport with stakeholders to influence decision making, negotiate positive outcomes, and ensure business and customer expectations are achieved. Experience in applying Asset Management principles across both fixed and mobile equipment. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organisational levels and disciplines. Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity, create clarity and reach high quality decisions. Demonstrated ability to develop written and verbal communications through Memorandums, Presentation packs to leadership levels of the business. A qualification in Asset Management with demonstrated knowledge of ISO55000 and the application of Asset Management Systems and Framework is highly regarded. Previous experience in Electrification and associated infrastructure . Proven track record of change management implementation skills across multiple locations and regions. Ability to manage and implement change through influence. Experience in supporting or leading continuous improvement projects. Experience in developing and implementing business process through analysis of data. Understanding of process mapping to drive sustainable business improvement. Experience in BHP processes and systems (e.g. SAP, Asset Performance Management Tools) would be highly regarded. Location and Roster This role will be performed from our Centre of Excellence hub in the Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane office, working Monday to Friday offering flexible conditions.Occasional site travel is required in this role and supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around Australia and the globe.
