Regional Anatomical Pathologist - Albury Wodonga Job title: Regional Anatomical Pathologist - Albury Wodonga Type of position: Specialist(s) Location Country: NSW - Australia Company name: Dorevitch Pathology - Albury Discipline: Anatomical Pathology Description: Located on the border of Victoria and NSW, home to Victoria's largest regional health service, we're a busy regional Department of 3 Anatomical Pathologists with 3 Registrars part of the Victorian Training Network. We have a varied case mix of Public and Private Hospital and community cases and receive strong network support from our Central lab Dorevitch Heidelberg, as well Public Hospital Pathology Lab support in Melbourne. We are heavily involved in the Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Services with multiple MDTMs per week.With an emphasis on long term sustainable workload management to facilitate regional service stability and maximise regional lifestyle advantages, please contact me to find out more. Healius Pathology comprises a number of well-established laboratories across Australia including Dorevitch Pathology, Western Diagnostic Pathology, Laverty Pathology, QML, IQP and Kossard Dermatopathology.Dorevitch Pathology provides diagnostic pathology services across Victoria and in southern NSW, and includes the main laboratory in Heidelberg as well as regional laboratories. Its catchment includes private and public hospitals, specialists and GPs. Responsibilities: You will provide consultant pathology services, including diagnostic histopathology covering most major organ systems, including GI, skin, breast, cardiothoracic, gynaecological, ENT, oral. Given our referral base, pathologists participate in MDMs. Dorevitch is a training centre for pathology registrars and pathologists are expected to participate in this. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must hold specialist anatomical pathology qualifications (FRCPA) or equivalent and hold or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
