UniSC Sport | UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs Level 6, $90,038 - $97,437 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time (36.25 hours per week), Ongoing appointment The Opportunity Take charge of organising and managing sport and recreation programs at UniSC, creating opportunities for students, staff, and the community to participate in both competitive and recreational activities. Leading a small, dedicated team, you’ll focus on fostering a safe and welcoming environment while supporting the Manager, UniSC Sport and Fitness, to ensure smooth operations of sport and fitness facilities across all campuses. You will oversee a range of responsibilities that ensure effective student engagement and participation through UniSC Sport and Fitness programs and events, across all campuses; oversee the travel of students participating in UniSC Sport and Fitness organised events and competitions; establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate programs and activities for students, staff and community groups, and identify opportunities to advance our sporting facilities objectives. About you You are a highly organised and dependable professional with outstanding planning and prioritisation skills, allowing you to manage time and resources effectively using established processes and technologies. Your exceptional administrative expertise, thorough attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines ensure the seamless execution of tasks. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you convey information clearly, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you consistently deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision. You will possess: extensive experience and/or relevant education and training with a proven track record in coordinating sport and recreation activities, programs, and events that attract high levels of engagement; demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders actively, fostering positive relationships, and effectively resolving issues and conflicts; proven expertise in budget management, including monitoring, creation, and optimisation, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives; strong computer literacy with proficiency in relevant software and technologies; current qualifications in First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children, ensuring safety and compliance in all activities.
