Our APAC Services team is growing, and we seek a Manager Service Operations, Sr to join our team reporting directly to the Director of Installation, Commissioning and Service. This role is responsible for managing a team of dedicated and hardworking internal and external field resources. Responsible for completing new service projects, planned maintenance, and unplanned service requests. Responsibilities: Manage a dedicated team of internal and external Field Service Technicians Deliver exceptional customer outcomes whilst managing to the contracted budgets Manage and deliver planned maintenance schedules as per our contracted requirements Manage overall maintenance plans, service project schedules and resource allocation in support of field services Oversee resources assigned to service projects including Powin staff, Authorized Service Providers (ASP), sub-contractors to ensure quality, schedules are met, safety guidelines and requirements are followed Proactively collaborate with customers, suppliers, partners, sales, and senior management as necessary to ensure project deliverables and contract requirements are met Responsible for effective contract management and change control to ensure transparent performance of contract obligations Interface with internal and external customers to determine customer needs, improving communication, and overall planning of outage requirements Collaborate with field service and engineering to analyze, identify, and understand product issues that affect performance of LTSA Determine corrective actions for containment and resolution with engineering and field service contracts Assist in the development of inventory management programs related to contract requirements, locations, and obligations to fully mitigate risk inherent in performance of LTSA contracts and performance obligations Resolve warranty issues and perform other duties as required Travel to customer plant sites for planning outage requirements and meeting with the customer on all contract issues Coordination of parts, repairs, and the ordering of new parts to support outages at the customer’s plant site Develop and release service project documentation including technical reports, outage reports, and customer performance reports Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Electrical License and Trade with demonstrated background managing large scale service contracts 10+ years in a similar role, managing staff, budgets, LTSA contracts, customer interactions 5+ years of energy storage, distributed generation, renewable energy, equipment manufacturing, or large-scale electrical equipment experience Proficiency in scheduling tools MS Project, along with basic MS office programs Experience with developing project plans for service related projects, cost/resource loaded schedules Experience interacting with all levels of employees, customers, and field service personnel Ability to focus on details. Transparent communicator with ability to quickly build trust Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, managers, clients, customers, and field service staff Ability to read and analyze business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, standards, governmental regulations Strong analytical skills with ability to write concise reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals In-depth understanding with mathematical concepts such as probability statistical inference, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L’s Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions Prior experience in a fast-paced organization EEO STATEMENT: The Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.
