Job Description

Responsibilities for Senior Scientist Leads initiatives in the development of new multi-disciplinary products and portfolio introductions with new chemistry and biologically alternative methods to provide added value through sustainability and savings in labor, water, and material inputs in precision managed ecosystems in the professional turf and ornamental arena. Conducts technical research projects through all stages of experimentation (test protocol development, inter-departmental coordination, execution, and data generation & interpretation). Performs physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenteral, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels). Prepares standards and samples for analysis. Travels to client sites to perform essential duties as necessary. Performs a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily, but not limited to, cell biology and virology test areas of Biopharmaceutical Services. Reviews and evaluates raw data for acceptability. Troubleshoots method and instrumentation problems. Performs routine and non-routine biopharmaceutical analyses or related procedures (including those performed in controlled access areas). Travels to and from client meetings, technical meetings, or seminars. #J-18808-Ljbffr
