The purpose of the position is to coordinate the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department, in accordance with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Note for Guidance on Good Clinical Practice (CPMP/ICH/135/95) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others. Effective computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations. Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Demonstrated recent post-registration experience in an acute care setting, preferably including experience in a Haematology setting. Venepuncture and Blood collection skills. Demonstrated commitment to personal professional development.
