Generous base salary + uncapped commissions Access Hire is a leading supplier of hire equipment, offering an extensive range of equipment for both hire and sale across multiple industries. As a specialist division of Access Group Australia, we have built a reputation as the most trusted hire company in the industry, delivering innovative solutions across construction, material handling, and mining sectors. With a significant growth strategy in place, we are expanding our fleet to include heavy civil equipment and seeking a highly experienced State Manager - Civil Equipment to lead this division in Western Australia. This senior leadership role is critical in establishing and growing our CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment range, which includes but is not limited to excavators, graders, dozers, loaders, and diggers. Other key areas of this role will include Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the civil equipment hire, construction, and heavy machinery industry. Strong track record of business development, revenue growth, and market expansion in a competitive sector. Extensive knowledge of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment and their applications in civil construction and mining-related projects. Ability to develop high-level relationships with industry leaders and key decision-makers. Experience leading sales teams and driving high-performance cultures. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contracts and high-value deals. A results-driven approach with the ability to deliver on growth targets and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication, and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have; 10+ years of leadership experience in civil equipment hire, construction, and heavy machinery, with a proven track record of business growth and revenue success. Extensive experience in the sales and hire of "Yellow Gear", including a strong understanding of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment and their applications in civil construction. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams while fostering long-term client and stakeholder relationships. Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing senior decision-makers. Highly organised and results-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on growth targets. Current and valid Driver's Licence.
