About K&S Contract Logistics Division: K&S Contract Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of K&S Corporation and consists of three independent operating divisions – K&S Contract Distribution Division, Warehousing Division and On Demand. The role: As the State Manager, Contract Logistics for WA, you will take full ownership in supporting, developing and expanding our existing team of transport professionals, to drive growth & security through our existing partnerships, and to continuously demonstrate our core values around culture and safety through strong & supportive leadership. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who thrives on bringing people together, fostering collaboration and shaping a positive, high performing team culture. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Executive GM to develop strategic plans that enhance efficiency, profitability and service delivery across WA. Engage directly with key clients to ensure their requirements are met, building strong relationships that foster growth and long-term success. Take full responsibility of the quarterly review processes with up to 5 current stakeholders. Analyse financial metrics to ensure profitable operations while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Inspire, coach and develop employees to maximize their potential, creating a positive inclusive work environment. Ensure full compliance with all company policies, including Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards as well as Workers Compensation protocols. You will bring: Demonstrated, long term success in a similar capacity within the transport industry. Clear leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to build, manage and maintain teams across multiple divisions. Detailed knowledge of Chain of Responsibility laws, WHS & Environmental obligations, and WA main roads legislation and regulations. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams with a hands-on approach to problem solving. Ability to forge strong and lasting relationships with our key stakeholders, while taking advantage of new opportunities as they present themselves. Pre-Requisites: All candidates progressed past the first interview will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which will include drug and alcohol screening and a police check.
