As a State Manager , you will play a critical role in ensuring we have the best Centre Directors leading our centres every day. You will oversee centre performance across the state, providing strategic leadership and operational guidance to drive high-quality early learning outcomes. The role will focus on: Enable and empower Centre Directors and teams to uplift centre performance. Develop Team capability and Leadership Drive State Business Planning and Performance Foster External Stakeholder Relationships Early Learning Inclusion Ensure health, safety, and compliance Your Impact: Providing leadership and strategic direction to all centres within the state. Shaping and implementing the organisational plan within a state and local context. Creating and sustaining a culture aligned with Goodstart Early Learning’s Guiding Principles and Foundations. Ensuring all centres meet and exceed Goodstart’s standards. Developing succession planning and talent mapping for Centre Directors and key leadership positions. Leading the development and embedment of a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Driving state business planning and performance, including financial performance, social inclusion, and safety. To be successful in the role you will have: Essential: Minimum 5 years of senior-level business management experience Experience in managing high-level external stakeholder relationships Excellent communication, change management and leadership skills Early Childhood Qualification or Business Management Qualification Flexibility to undertake regular domestic travel and to work outside normal business hours as required Desirable: Previous management experience with large groups of employees across multi-site operations Both an Early Childhood Qualification and a Business Management Qualification How to apply: Click ‘Apply Now’ and submit your application.
