The role: You will lead, influence and support all activities of the grocery field sales team in ensuring that corporate goals and objectives are met. You will lead, mentor and develop the Territory Managers (TM) in NSW. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate monthly state meetings. Recruit and train TMs. Be the first escalation point for internal systems. Drive continuous improvement of productivity and sales and reporting on initiatives. Review 3rd party provider requirements with regards to contracted merchandisers to maximise their efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI in the assigned State. Conduct vehicle safety checks. Monitor and report on competitor activity and significant market developments. Implement Sales strategies as approved by NAM, to achieve business objectives in sales and profitability in the given region. Participate in Trade Shows, events & other networking & engagement opportunities (as required). Drive culture and foster behaviours in keeping with Sanitarium philosophies. Deliver sales volumes and profit targets as agreed. Manage expenses within agreed allocation. Set agreed KPIs and plans to achieve outcomes in line with overall Sales’ strategy. Communicate efficiently and effectively with all customer and internal teams with a view to delivering objectives with excellence. Actively build strong relationships with all internal and external key stakeholders to maximise Sales plans in your territory. The Requirements: A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in FMCG. Successful track record of building strong / lasting relationships with customers & internal teams. Experience in managing and developing a high performing team. A strong ability to analyse and integrate data for meaningful insights. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and be able to adjust to varying situations. Budget management. Account Executive Experience or adjacent roles (Category Management, Finance or Marketing) would be advantageous. Sales Rep (Territory Management) experience in FMCG is desirable. Tertiary Education in Sales/Marketing/Finance or similar is desirable. Who are we?
