About the role The State Manager's (SM) primary responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient management of all aspects of service delivery for designated accounts and improve outcomes for both clients and staff for our QLD Operations. You will lead teams across multiple sites, with a focus on delivering a customer centric approach to our clients and customers ensuring our people are aligned with our values and standards. What You'll Be Doing: As the State Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our clients while managing daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: Cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and the excellence of our services. Leading a dedicated team, providing guidance and support to achieve superior performance and client contentment. Overseeing service delivery across various sites, guaranteeing adherence to safety, security, and service requirements of the highest standards. Crafting customised solutions for clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns with meticulous attention to detail. Supervising operational processes, including scheduling, performance management, and training programs. Conducting regular evaluations and reporting on service levels, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement. Playing an essential role in emergency management by ensuring preparedness and prompt resolution of any arising issues. Managing budgets and resources efficiently while delivering cost-effective solutions. What You Bring to the Table: Demonstrated experience in a state client service management or supervisory position, preferably within the security or related sectors. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a natural ability to foster positive relationships with both clients and team members. Strong organisational capabilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. A customer-centric approach, committed to service excellence. Possession of a current Security Licence and/or Cert II in Security Operations would be advantageous. Previous experience in retail, security, or customer service industries is highly desirable. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure.
