We are looking for an accomplished Store Development Manager to lead this transformation, overseeing every aspect of store strategy, design, and execution. About the Role This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will drive the entire process of bringing our physical retail vision to life—from store design, construction management, to operational readiness. Your focus will be on delivering commercially successful, brand-aligned stores that provide an exceptional customer experience, all while navigating the pace and challenges of a rapidly expanding business. Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, you will be the driving force behind Adore Beauty Group's physical footprint, working with internal and external stakeholders to execute a national rollout strategy. Your role will be as much about commercial acumen and project delivery as it is about innovation and brand storytelling. This role will require frequent travel, with up to 50% of your time spent on the road, visiting sites and overseeing store developments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a national store development strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Work closely and collaborate with retail development managers. Lead the store design and construction process, working with architects, designers, partners and contractors to create spaces that enhance both brand identity and customer experience. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and project timelines, ensuring efficiency without compromising on quality. Implement best-in-class operational systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration between online and offline retail channels. Collaborate closely with senior leadership, marketing, merchandising, and operations to deliver commercially viable, high-performing stores. Stay ahead of global retail trends and innovations, ensuring Adore Beauty stores are future-proofed and industry-leading. Who You Are: You are an experienced, commercially astute leader with a track record of success in retail expansion, store rollouts, and development strategy. You understand what it takes to deliver scalable, profitable, and brand-enhancing retail experiences. You’re able to balance creativity with commercial realities and know how to bring a vision to life, from concept to execution. Bringing the following: 7+ years’ experience in store development, retail project management, or property strategy, ideally within beauty, luxury, or premium retail. A deep understanding of retail operations, construction processes, and commercial leasing. Strong financial and budget management skills, with a proven ability to control costs and drive ROI. A strategic, solutions-oriented mindset, capable of overcoming complex development challenges. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
