Store Manager - Laurent Bakery Little Collins Street Laurent Bakery has always been driven by love and respect for the craft of French artisan baking and exists as a homage to the values of a village bakery. Our cafes are a Melbourne staple when it comes to French quality products with a 30-year history around our beautiful cakes, scrumptious pastries and mouthwatering sandwiches and croquets. We are a luxury brand with new and exciting opportunities and products to showcase to our loyal customers. About the Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to lead an amazing team in our French style iconic cafe in the heart of the city. As the Store Manager, you will be super hands-on (with your team) leading the team to success. You will thrive in a fast-paced hands-on role supported by a passionate and high performing team who are excited to sell our luxury brand. Your roster will be flexible with rotation across shifts and working at least one day of the weekend to get to know your entire team. Work on some public holidays is also required. Key Responsibilities As Store Manager, your key responsibilities will include delivering an exceptional customer experience in the heart of Melbourne's CBD in an iconic building. You will work collaboratively with your team to achieve your store KPI's and the company’s objectives. You and your team will drive sales week on week to achieve your budgets, while at the same time providing a customer experience that is second to none. You will split your time between being a hands-on leader in store, balanced with admin duties including managing wages, budgets and waste to control costs. What you will bring Previous Store Manager experience is required Hands on and strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success Experience in delivering and maintaining the highest standard in branding to our valued customers Ability to achieve sales targets and effectively manage wages, costs and waste Experienced in preparing monthly rosters and administration duties Proven ability in driving sales and achieving KPI's & budgets Experience in managing stock on hand, ensuring rotation and minimising waste High personal standards in providing a superior customer experience Maintain a harmonious working environment within your team and with other Store Managers in our network Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage industry is a plus, with a bakery qualification preferred What's in it for you A great opportunity to make a real impact in one of our busiest cafes Grow in the role and become one of our future Area Managers A fun and dynamic work environment with a very supportive leadership team How do your skills match this job?
