Job Description
Store person / Trade Assistant to join our team in Welshpool WA 6106. This position is split equally between store work and hands-on trade assistant responsibilities. This role will see you responsible for the receiving, handling, and despatch of goods in the store and warehouse whilst also assisting in the control of stock. Employee benefits program - Offering salary packaging options, novated leasing, discounts at everyday stores, and much more. 8 week paid parental leave - one week secondary leave An inclusive culture and access to our Women’s Lead Network A robust focus on work, health, and safety through our "Home Safely Every day" program Your responsibilities in this role will also include: Load and unload deliveries from transport companies Check off inbound deliveries as they are received, ensuring we have received the correct product and quantity as per our purchase order (including measuring and checking the diameter of steel) Pick goods for projects + service Wrap, strap, and pack all outgoing orders so they will be received in worthy condition Assist with the stripping and assembly of hydraulic components including inspection and measuring of components and report writing Maintaining a clean working environment Operating various hand power tools About you Experience working as a trade assistant within a workshop environment Valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift ticket Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and time management skills Experience working with power tools Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems experience About Us Hardchrome Sales specialise in hydraulic cylinder overhauls and the manufacture of component parts for the heavy earthmoving, oil, gas, and agricultural industry within Western Australia.
