THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE In this Strategic Business Development Manager role, your primary objective will involve a solution-oriented sales approach to consult with businesses on their safety management needs and offer tailored solutions, based on their individual requirements. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a pipeline, while proactively identifying and pursuing new business prospects to enhance market presence and expand the current client portfolio within the transport, construction, government, waste and distribution sectors. A consultative approach is needed as this is a conceptual, solution sell not a technical sell. As such it’s important that you know how adapt a pitch to appeal to individual decision makers’ pain points. Decision makers' you will present to include; Safety Managers, Fleet Managers, Finance, Operations and Executive level. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will predominantly work from home with travel to client sites as required. You will collaborate with the technical and project management teams to convert unique client challenges into scalable market solutions, influencing the company's strategic direction. This is the ideal role for anyone who enjoys long term, strategic relationship building and has a genuine passion for increasing road safety. THE EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING 5+ years of solution-sales experience with a proven ability to understand client pain points and deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions. Capable of developing and executing strategic plans in fast-paced environments. Experience in the transport, construction, government, waste, or distribution sectors is advantageous.
