About the role An exciting opportunity to transition into Australia’s dynamic e-commerce industry as a Strategic Channel Growth Manager/Strategic Account Manager at New Aim. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage the P&L and lead the growth and profitability of our key strategic channels. In this pivotal role, you will align channel strategies with overall business objectives, identify new growth opportunities, and maximize the potential of existing channels. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in consulting, strategy, banking, technology, startups, or retail/online marketplaces, looking to drive impactful growth and shape the future of a thriving business. Responsibilities 1. Business Operations Oversee channel operations and manage P&L, ensuring sales targets are met Utilise data analytics to inform strategic decisions, identifying key opportunities to optimise performance and drive impactful initiatives Continuously automate and optimize channel operations, processes, and systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience Lead internal business reviews and planning Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key channel partners to develop joint business plans, negotiating for strategic deals & promotions and more 2. Strategy, Growth & Innovation Develop and implement channel strategies that align with business objectives and overall company goals, with a focus on driving bottom line growth Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer behaviour shifts, competitive threats, and opportunities that can drive channel growth and new business development. Identify and lead strategic cross-functional projects with category, operations, product and analytics to drive innovation and channel growth, as well as to improve operational efficiency. Work with the finance team to prepare and manage budgets required for strategic growth initiatives. Constantly innovate and experiment to drive long-term growth Desired Background Experience: We are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds; the most important aspect of your experience or ability is having P&L responsibility and demonstrating success in planning and executing the growth of key strategic channels. Candidates with experience in consulting, strategy, banking, tech, startups, or retail and online marketplaces are all welcome. Analytical Skills: Strong data analytics and business analysis capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable, strategic recommendations. Growth Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable steps to drive growth. Communication: Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas succinctly and effectively. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work with and influence stakeholders across teams and markets. Project Management: Proven track record of managing multiple projects and initiatives, meeting deadlines, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
