We’re seeking a proactive and skilled professional to lead Council’s program of strategic projects. This newly created role has been designed to unlock the potential of key opportunity sites in Port Stephens. This involves leading project teams in the development of integrated plans and strategies across land use, property development, asset management, social, environmental and financial portfolios. The role is required to build strong relationships and advocate for partnerships with Government agencies, businesses, private landholders and other relevant stakeholders. This is a 24 month temporary opportunity – full-time working 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement such as flexi-time and working from home. Base Salary Range: $103,938 - $122,275 pa based on 35 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $18,619.19 motor vehicle allowance + $2,312 retention allowance. You will be working from: PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace. We’re all about putting the right people in the right role! Here’s what we’re looking for: A degree qualification in Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design, Property, Engineering or a demonstrated equivalent. Someone with a passion for problem solving, building strong relationships and with demonstrated experience in the coordination, management and delivery of complex projects. Excellent interpersonal abilities to build trust, facilitate collaboration, and drive engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders. Effective leadership experience, as the role is a part of the Strategy and Environment Leadership team, helping to guide and influence strategic decisions for Port Stephens Council.
