Discover the Opportunity The role of the Strategic Sourcing Manager – Labour Hire & Contractor Services is to develop and execute best in class procurement processes to drive effective sourcing strategies and contract management aligned with the Opal Group strategic priorities and business needs. You will contribute to the success of Opal by: Conducting strategic sourcing projects and negotiations for assigned categories. Leading RFI and RFP processes. Managing supply base and stakeholders of existing agreements. Developing best in class preferred supplier shortlists for assigned categories. Managing spend compliance and leakage reporting. Leading the data collection efforts to understand and document current processes for labour hire and independent contractor engagement across Opal’s business units. Analysing and evaluating existing processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track and within scope. Specifically for this role, we expect you will have: A degree or diploma in Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain Management. Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain. Experience managing significant categories of more than $80M. Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, procurement concepts, and processes. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
