The Opportunity We are looking for a strategic thinker with a consulting pedigree who is ready to step into a corporate strategy role. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Portfolio Planning, you will be integral in developing and executing the strategic planning process for Qantas Loyalty, with a focus on delivering executive strategy papers, Board presentations, and leadership engagement. You will:Drive the design and governance of Loyalty’s strategic direction, working closely with Group executives and cross-functional teams to align initiatives to our ambitious growth agenda. Ensure alignment across all Loyalty business units and integration with Group objectives. Develop and deliver high-impact Board papers, executive presentations, and strategic frameworks to guide decision-making. Drive strategic analysis and work plans for key growth opportunities, from ideation through to business case development. What You’ll Bring We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong consulting background and a passion for solving complex problems. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment and bring the following experience and skills: 7+ years’ experience in a strategy-focused role, ideally with time spent at a top-tier consulting firm. Proven ability to develop executive-level deliverables such as strategy papers, Board materials, and presentations with clarity and impact. Strong strategic planning and portfolio management experience, including prioritizing initiatives against financial, strategic, and feasibility lenses. Superior financial, analytical, and modelling skills, with the ability to distil complex information into actionable insights. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working directly with senior executives. Self-starter with a focus on outcomes, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business discipline (Commerce, Business, Finance) are required; MBA is desirable but not essential. Why Qantas?
