Roads ACT is seeking an enthusiastic leader who can oversee the street sweeping crews. The role administers an individual who can manage and optimise the day-to-day operations of street sweeping maintenance programs and efficiently attain resource allocation, ensure all sweeping staff follow the right operating procedures for equipment and machinery, and comply with street sweeping workforce compliance and workplace safety policies. The position will lead the street sweeping team in the Works business unit within Roads ACT. The role involves coordinating, supervising staff, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. As an important part of the Roads ACT team, an individual will work collaboratively with the Works Manager, maintain key strategic relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, and supervise all sweeping staff to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible delivery of road maintenance services. As a leader within TCCS, this role requires a person who can inspire, energise, and positively influence team and individual outcomes. The role is responsible for assisting staff members with on-the-job training, preparation of reporting requirements, and providing appropriate support and guidance for any incident resolution. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Have significant building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience. Diploma in Management or equivalent.
