Your Role We value unique strengths and welcome candidates with proven experience in the design of water and wastewater structures (e.g. treatment plants and pump stations) from concept to IFC. In this role you will: Drive the technical quality of water and wastewater infrastructure design projects. Develop and deliver structural designs from concept to detailed design, ensuring high technical standards. Understand design and/or design management on projects or program work packages. Contribute to the design team by enhancing client feedback, satisfaction, and exceeding expectations. Assist in preparing and coordinating high-quality proposals and pursuits. Develop and mentor emerging professionals. Work collaboratively with local and national teams. About You Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent). 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the Water industry sector Chartered Engineer status. Experience in the design of water and wastewater structures Competent in the use of relevant Australian Standards, International Standards, WSAA codes, and other guidelines. Structural steel design, including portal frame structures. Structural concrete design, including below ground structures. Condition assessment and remediation of steel and concrete structures. Design of water retaining structures. Design of above ground pipelines, including stress analysis. Undertake design reviews and signoff. Technical reporting. Construction support, including QA.
