Student Recruitment Coordinator (Marketing & Communications Business Area) Full time, Fixed Term until 26 December 2025 | Position Number 002258 Location: Dandenong - Hybrid arrangement (3 days office, 2 days WFH). ABOUT THE ROLE The Student Recruitment Coordinator contributes to the achievement of domestic student enrolment targets for Chisholm, through effective account management and a program of engagement with secondary schools and relevant expos in Chisholm’s catchment. Reporting to and working under the general direction of the Student Recruitment Specialist, this position fields and generates enquiries from school students, liaises with key contacts in schools, and develops and implements an annual calendar of recruitment activities, which aligns with the broader engagement and event strategy. This position works with Chisholm Delivery Business Areas to help promote the available internal study pathways for existing (continuing) Chisholm students. The Student Recruitment Coordinator provides advice to prospective students and their influencers about the study options available at Chisholm and administers segment-appropriate marketing events and activities. This position represents the Institute at recruitment events and is a key role in raising the awareness and visibility of the Chisholm brand through top of funnel engagement activity with secondary schools, prospective students and their influencers. Some events may be after hours and/or on weekends. ABOUT YOU You will have a relevant degree in marketing/communications or equivalent with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry. Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills, with a focus on high-quality customer care. Ability to listen to customers/stakeholders and actively seek to meet their needs. Strong written and oral communication skills, including strong public speaking ability. Superior time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Competency with a range of software and systems, including PowerPoint, spreadsheets and CRM. Ability to work both autonomously and within an efficient, high-performing team.
