About The Role Closing Date: 23.03.2024 Subacute / Rehab Physiotherapist - Fixed Term Long Service Leave coverage (Immediate start (flexible) until mid July 2025) Our subacute rehabilitation team is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join them for immediate start to cover LSL. This position is fixed term and is flexible in the FTE. This position is a great opportunity to 'dip your toe into the public health sector' and experience working with our experienced and welcoming team and understand and contribute to the care and advocacy they provide to their patients. Our subacute inpatient space is a 30 bed ward (mixed rehab and GEM streams). We have a team of experienced subacute and developing seniors, supported by rotational physiotherapists and AHAs. The broader team of Nursing, Medical and Allied Health are very welcoming and supportive of new staff. This is a great opportunity for you to gain experience within our organisation and provide opportunities for ongoing internal appointments during this time. We have a broad mixed, at times high acuity and complex caseload that includes stroke management, amputees, spinal rehab, brain injury, general function decline, falls and other neuro rehab conditions. A senior, or therapist seeking experience to develop as a senior, would be welcome to apply for this position.
