Anglicare Central Queensland Limited | Central Qld - All 106,000 p / a +superannuation + salary sacrifice Full-time - Fixed-term position About the role : We are currently seeking a Suicide Prevention Services Coordinator to join our team in Rockhampton, Gladstone or Emerald. Our Coordinator will provide an intersection between the non-clinical work within Anglicare CQ’s The Way Back Support Service and the clinical support provided to participants by the Central Queensland and Central West Hospital and Healthcare Service. What will a typical day look like? Develop, implement, and evaluate strength-based, personal-centred and recovery-oriented supports within a defined clinical governance framework. Implement practices to maximise engagement of vulnerable populations who are at higher risk of suicide and ensure supports are tailored to accommodate their needs. In collaboration with partners and stakeholders, develop and apply referral pathways and escalation processes. Manage intake, case allocation processes, and ensure appropriate assessment, planning and best practice principles. Establish and promote professional relationships with key stakeholders across the regions of service. Mandatory Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy or mental health nursing. 2 years’ experience in a combination of practitioner and leadership roles. Registration with AHPRA, AASW or APA. What you will bring to the role : A passion and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of Central Queenslanders. Effective time management and organisational skills. A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people. Other Requirements : Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption).
