Ground Stabilisation SystemsThese positions are available in QLD, NSW, WA, VIC and NT as the company works on projects nationwide throughout Australia.Key Skills & Requirements (Supervisor) Experience in installation of all facets of Rockfall protection Systems Knowledge around Rotary & Percussion drilling systems Difficult Access Drilling platforms & Systems Shoring and Ground Anchor Construction Shotcreting & Erosion Control solutions Rope Access Irata L3 Qualifications Minimum 3 years Supervision in Civil Geotechnical Construction General Responsibilities And Accountabilities To comply with workplace policies and procedures Meet Contract construction obligations. Client meetings Nurture and provide direction to newer staff Report any VOC Requirements Work with others in a team Supervise and train Site Techs and other workers as required Quality Responsibilities And Accountabilities Ensure the quality of all products and parts that you work on, before and after. Maintain any equipment in a manner, which ensures continuing quality standards are met. Contribute to customer satisfaction at every opportunity – interact well with customers when communicating with them. Report and recommend possible opportunities for improvement in the business or any particular process. Drawings understood and constructed per specification Grout Cubes taken Anchor Testing requirements Drill & Grout Logs completed Asbuilts up to date Photo’s uploaded to Sharepoint Weekly reports to Management Equipment shortages & Repairs WHSE (Workplace Health, Safety And Environment) Responsibilities And Accountabilities Organise the work so it is carried out to the required standards, including the well being of staff, equipment and material. Where applicable, issue work method instructions in written form. Know the requirements of the relevant WHS procedures, regulations, codes of practice and Australian standards. Ensure that these requirements are observed in the workplace, and that all registers, records and reports are in order. Ensure that Injury/Incident Registers and Incident Investigation Forms are completed correctly with all relevant questions answered. Take all relevant action to ensure that a similar accident does not occur again. Work closely with management and all other personnel in the implementation of WHS policies and procedures. Give all subordinates precise instructions on their responsibilities for correct work methods and ensure that they do not take action that puts themselves or others at risk. Ensure that material is stored in a safe manner, any necessary Material Safety Data Sheets are available and that the workplace is organised so as to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Implement arrangements with other contractors or sub contractors on site to avoid any confusion about areas of responsibilities. Commend those who by action or initiative, eliminate hazards. Where it is required, ensure that suitable protective clothing and equipment is available and used. Set a personal example by working safely at all times. Be responsible for maintaining the proper level of safety/environment awareness in all of your jobs without causing injury to yourself, your co-workers and visitors. Understand and adhere to all relevant safety rules / procedures and accepted work practices; failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions being applied. Be responsible for constantly examining your work environment for hazards that could lead to an injury or incident and promptly initiate corrective action. Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times. Report to work fit for duty without impairment from drugs, medications, fatigue or other influences that may adversely affect the safety aspects of your duties. Be involved in safety improvement activities. Address improper safety practices observed in your co-workers, contractors and visitors. Immediately report all injuries and other safety incidents. If injured, co-operate to achieve an effective and speedy rehabilitation. Co-operate with management with respect to any action taken to comply with the company’s HSE obligations. Never willfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of employee health, safety or welfare. Never willfully place at risk the occupational or environmental health, safety or welfare of any person at the workplace.
