Job Description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Heavy Lift Supervisor for our Shutdown Service Contract on a 2:1 roster. Working for our MSA shutdown and maintenance division. Join our team as a Lifting Supervisor for our Maintenance and Shutdown division across various sites within the Pilbara on a 2:1 Roster FIFO from Perth. As a Lifting Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of lifting operations. The primary role of Lift Supervisor will be to oversee and prepare for the lifting of heavy items in accordance with local regulations and in a safe and efficient manner. Mammoet is seeking a self-driven and motivated Supervisor to service multiple clients and sites and who is willing to take ownership of their team. As a Supervisor with Mammoet, you will ultimately be accountable for ensuring a high standard of delivery and safety to our Clients and employees. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Taking responsibility for the supervision and execution of assigned work. Executing and overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and personnel. Leading a team with a range of different roles and skills. Providing direction and expert knowledge. Overseeing all phases of work at the site on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and effectively. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Professional level experience in people management. Excellent customer service and situational analysis. 3 years supervising experience in crane and rigging operations within the mining industry. Safety training and certification to Operational Supervisor level, to Mammoet standards. Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining. Ten years of relevant work experience in horizontal and vertical transport. Section 44 Certificate or equivalent. FMG experience is highly desirable.
