This roster is 8/6/7/7 and a 12-hour day. About the role Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, this role is responsible for coordinating daily activities of process shift personnel, ensuring safe plant efficiency, work quality by the crew and by each individual on the crew, and people management. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining compliance with safety, health, environment, and community (HSEC) responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with legal obligations, policies, and relevant Evolution processes. Safely delivering operational KPIs as per budget and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Supporting team development through training, coaching, and mentoring. Engaging in planned maintenance activities, including shutdowns. Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Metallurgical, Safety, Training, and Mill Maintenance departments. Overseeing and guiding Process Operators and relevant contract personnel. Upholding Evolution’s values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect while complying with all company policies and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment. About You The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III or IV in Frontline Management or Trainer/Assessor (desirable) and demonstrate prior supervisory experience. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of equipment isolation practices and current Supervisor Legal Obligation training (S1, S2, S3). Key competencies include computer proficiency and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The role requires the ability to prioritize workloads, multitask, delegate effectively, and remain calm under pressure. Extensive plant knowledge, particularly in control room operations and flotation, is critical. Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential for success in this dynamic role. You must also hold a valid manual driver’s license.
