Add expected salary to your profile for insights Core Responsibilities Supervise the Maintenance Team (Leading Hand, Contractors and General Hands/Trainees) in Pools and Gardens maintenance, contracts & projects, onsite and offsite. Plan equipment usage and procedures for work unit; coordinate and monitor status of work requests. Inspect all works are completed within the allocated time frame and work for completeness. Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction within the team and coordinate activities to achieve required outcomes. Assist with scoping and planning projects; and estimate the assessment on scopes of works to enable quoting for contracts onsite and offsite. Conduct end of day clean up including storing tools, equipment & materials in the designated areas to ensure the workplace is neat and tidy at all times. Ensure that all operations are performed safely and in line with IMMS OHS Policies, Procedures and Practices. Other duties as may be required from time to time. Qualifications Current Police Clearance Certification in Horticulture or similar Certifications preferred Previous Experience with reticulation Previous experience in a Supervisory role Knowledge of occupational hazards and safe working procedures Demonstrated experience working with, and providing on the job skills training to, people of different cultural backgrounds and age groups. Skills Effective communication skills to all levels Non-licenced Trade skills associated with, gardens, landscaping, and reticulation. Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Word as a minimum. Ability to generate OHS related reports, and forms related to Maintenance operations (Incident reports, JSA’s/JHAs) Application Questions Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
