Prosser Built are looking to expand their carpentry team for ongoing work across the South West region (Busselton Based) Family owned business with a strong history in construction. Work with a tight, experienced team in a growing company. Opportunity to work on a range of commercial and residential projects. Attractive remuneration. Prosser Built is a family owned construction company located in Bunbury & Cowaramup, Western Australia, which has been undertaking a range of construction projects for over 50 years. This is a full-time, site-based position with the opportunity to secure long-term employment within the region (Busselton to Margaret River). Our projects range in value from $150k to $5m and works will involve commercial builds including office, retail, showroom, industrial, medical projects, and some custom residential builds. THE POSITION Liaise daily with the Project Manager. Support the Project Manager with coordination of all onsite activities on one or more sites including safety and the supervision of suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors to meet time and quality agreements. Assist Project Manager in coordinating trades & activities in a logical manner to facilitate construction activity. Read, understand, and interpret documents - architectural, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, shop drawings, and other service trade documentation. Undertake set out of buildings and ensure construction to correct tolerances. Ensure all work is carried out to the required standard. Ensure the works are carried out to meet the project program. Capable of all carpentry related work, with good all-round knowledge of construction. 5-day working week with optional overtime. THE PERSON - KEY REQUIREMENTS Experience preferred but not essential. Ability to manage multiple trade activities. Ability to work as part of a team. Hands-on experience managing all areas of on-site construction across all trades. A high level of attention to detail. Ability to operate independently. Have own hand tools.
