ROLE PURPOSE The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and implementing both product and spare parts forecast schedules to meet customer product roll-out requirements, repair and replenishment projects, and managing the stock and logistics activities for these activities across the Australian and New Zealand businesses. The position is also responsible for the effective management of the repair centre within Australia, providing direction and guidance and ensuring that adequate stock is held to satisfy immediate and projected needs, including both preparation of product and the repairing of spare parts. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include: Inventory Management Review upcoming project requirements and feed stock requirements through to key stakeholders to ensure effective forecasting, utilising the available tools within the Glory ERP system. Ensure any potential stock issues are escalated to senior management and other necessary stakeholders in a timely fashion to ensure customer expectations can be met or effective mitigation steps can be taken. Ensure stock is on hand as per project timeframes to meet agreed project requirements, escalating any issues as required. Prepare stock forecast reports for approval based on known and projected project requirements. Repair Management Ensure repair and warehouse staff are utilised appropriately to support business needs, development and administration. Ensure that assets are utilized in a cost-effective way. Ensure that inventory used in the completion of tasks, are tracked and properly controlled. Continuous Improvement Ongoing monitoring and management of repair centre activity against demand. Ensure effective order fulfilment of ad hoc requests. Minimize sourcing costs for parts. Reduce the number of parts sent offshore for repair. Stakeholder Management Coordinate required input from all stakeholders to prepare for project schedules. Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure that stock meets project demands. Liaise with all stakeholders regarding any variances in projected forecasts and advise any necessary adjustments accordingly. Project Review Upon project completion, review activities against project plan and prepare a post project review including recommendations for senior management consideration. Health and Safety Adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times. Ensure the prompt and accurate reporting, recording and investigation of all workplace incidents and injuries. Ensure all hazards are promptly assessed for their significances, and managed according to the hazard management process. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Proven experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing principles. Solid team leadership competency. Demonstrable experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of attention to detail. Proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Strong quality and customer orientation. Self-motivated. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with JDE or similar ERP system preferred. What's in it for you?
