Job Description
Seeking an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join a team in Jandakot - Initial 3-month temporary contract. Your New Company A government depot in Jandakot is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join the Supply Business Unit. This role is being offered on an initial 3-month temporary contract plus possible extension, working full-time hours. You will be paid on a competitive hourly rate and ideally can start immediately. Your New Role As the Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for: Managing supplier relationships, assisting with any queries or issues external suppliers are facing. Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding supply delivery. Providing support to key suppliers by running order reports, monitoring inventory purchase orders, and delivery statuses. Communicating with suppliers around inventory requirements and compliance. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered, you will have: Previous experience in a supply chain operation/vendor management position. Advanced communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with key suppliers. Excellent computer skills with the ability to pick up systems quickly. Excellent organisation skills.
