Your New Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to oversee and optimise the ordering and management of inventory, non-stock items, and key project materials. In this role, you will lead a small team of planners to drive efficient and effective planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain operations. You will be responsible for all ordering and timely delivery of materials for key projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Major Projects, Procurement, Warehouse & Distribution, Quality, and Engineering, to ensure that supply chain processes are aligned with business objectives and meet customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead and develop a high-performing team of supply chain planners, fostering a collaborative work environment. Track key project materials, providing regular updates to the Project team and highlighting any supply chain issues. Implement supply chain strategies to meet business goals, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and service levels. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address supply chain challenges. Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to ensure business continuity. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Monitor KPIs to assess and improve supply chain performance. Support staff with inventory, non-stock, and key project material management. Manage Material Master Data. Oversee recovered inventory and materials for capital and maintenance projects. To be successful, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Purchasing or other related disciplines. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing a team. Demonstrated experience in project coordination, materials management, and supply chain planning and execution. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and deliver clear, insightful reports. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
