We started our Australian activity in 2016 with our online business, and we now have seven large stores across Sydney and Melbourne. We are currently recruiting for a Supply & Distribution Manager to oversee our logistics and warehousing function in Sydney. Find out more about Decathlon at ROLE The Supply, Logistics & Distribution Manager oversees the logistics and warehousing function for the country. They are responsible for ensuring we deliver the best possible value for money distribution service to ensure customer satisfaction and business performance, be a true Decathlon ambassador and improve the overall economic results by optimising stock availability. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience and has an active role in supporting all of our different distribution channels by delivering exceptional product fulfilment to all channels to meet the customer demand.KEY DELIVERABLES Establish and execute logistical priorities that align with the needs of all distribution channels and uphold our commitments to people, planet, and profit. Deliver an adaptable, omnichannel, and sustainable logistic service that caters to diverse customer needs. Explore and implement innovative automation solutions that elevate our value proposition. Encourage eco-friendly transportation among our teams and partners to support sustainability. Ensure adherence to all customs regulations for smooth operations. Develop and fulfil delivery commitments to our stores and Regional Warehouses through effective communication channels. Enhance stock availability by coordinating closely with the supply team on expected receipt dates. Be prepared to take a project leadership role for any new services demanded by our customers. Ensure the safety of our teammates and third parties within our warehouse and during transit. Boost trust in our delivery system by maintaining high-quality standards. Preserve our resources and manage our societal impact, focusing on waste management, energy conservation, transportation, and more.
