We are committed to your professional development LET’S EXPLORE THE JOB Council is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our Supply Warehouse Team, where you will play a vital role in managing warehousing, customer service, and supply operations within Council’s store. As the first point of contact for internal teams, external customers, and suppliers, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless supply chain operations. Your focus will be on exceptional customer service, teamwork, and safety while contributing to the efficiency and continuous improvement of our warehouse functions. Your key focus areas are: Undertake the manual handling aspects of the store operation including safely receiving, issuing, delivering and storing materials. Safely operate plant and equipment including vehicles, forklifts, pedestrian stackers, pallet jacks and hydraulic trolleys. Provide excellent service while providing materials, services and information to meet the needs of the customers. Maintain accurate records and complete system requirements in the receipt, reconciliation and issue of goods from the supply store. Manage the delivery and pickup of internal mail and materials using Council vehicles. Specifically, you will have: Transport and Logistics Certificate II or equivalent experience and qualifications in a relevant discipline such as warehousing. Experienced and skilled in all aspects of warehousing including picking, selecting, receipting, stocktaking and issue of materials. Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service. Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment. Experience in working with a warehouse management system such as SAP, Authority and Oracle. SafeWork Forklift Licence or willing to obtain. MR Truck Licence is desirable. LET’S REVEAL THE PERKS Competitive salary from $59,942 to $69,662 a year plus industry-leading 12 per cent superannuation. Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range. Adverse working conditions allowance per hour. Enterprise Agreement pay increases apply. 38-hour work week with nine-day fortnight. Weekly pay.
