The Role: Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning and laundry services. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff contributing to the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a strong sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our residents quality of life. What you will do: All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties Distribution of meals to residents & dining room services Completing required documentation and reporting Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling What you will bring: Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) – MANDATORY – NDIS Worker Screening Unlimited working rights in Australia - MANDATORY Hospitality or Cleaning experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Compassion and Empathy An understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential) Who we are: Nanyima Care is a stand-alone Not-for-Profit Residential Aged Care Facility, under the governance of dedicated volunteers from within our local community, who contribute to the planning, management, and growth of the facility.
