Every day, Suncare employees are making a difference to real people. Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role? This is a rewarding community-based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking a Casual Support Worker to provide support to our customers in Kingaroy and surrounding region. The role actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. Responsibilities may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks. Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically rostered within Monday to Friday between 7am to 7pm. About you A background and qualification in community services is advantageous, but just as important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values. We want our customers to have a great experience with our people. If you are motivated, passionate and excited by the prospect of a new career opportunity, we will help you to gain the skills and experience you require to be successful at Suncare. For this position, you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's Licence, and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are required, and you will need to have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
