The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts. About the Role Judicial Registrar Baker seeks a highly organised legally qualified individual to be his Associate. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The Associate must provide high-level legal support and administrative services in chambers and within the courtroom, running high-volume common law specialist lists and interlocutory proceedings on referral. About You The role requires excellent time management skills, an ability to prioritise workload, a strong customer service focus, and a capacity to communicate at all levels. The successful candidate will be legally qualified and have strong legal research skills, interpersonal skills, and organisational skills. Post admission experience is preferred. Duties include: Necessary administration and case management Legal research Clerking in court (including virtually) Liaising with practitioners, court staff, and members of the public Electronic document management Managing the Judicial Registrar's diary Assisting judicial mediations Applications will be considered as they are received and you may be contacted prior to the application close date.
