We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Time Surgery Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary nursing with a specific focus on surgical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care Maintaining surgical suites and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality Providing support in anesthesia administration and monitoring Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition Providing compassionate care to patients and their families, offering education and support as needed Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care Requirements: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary nursing role, with a focus on surgical procedures Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Compassionate attitude towards animals and their caregivers Willingness to be on-call for emergency specialised surgical procedures If you are passionate about veterinary nursing and dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients, we want to hear from you!
