Key Accountabilities: Review and Analysis of Applications: review information provided on existing software applications, including their purpose, performance, and security standards. Prepare reports to support informed decision-making regarding application upgrades, replacement, or decommissioning. Recommendations for Software Improvements: provide recommendations for application optimisation, enhancement, or decommissioning based on business needs and security requirements. Development of Processes in Atlassian software: develop and configure forms and workflows in Jira Service Management (JSM) to manage new software application requests and change requests. Ensure the forms are structured and capture all data and tracking of each request, facilitating a smooth approval process and efficient documentation. Knowledge and Experience: Strong understanding of software systems, security standards, and best practices in application management. Ability to assess and analyse software applications, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Experience in reviewing line-of-business applications to assess functionality, security, and alignment with business objectives, and providing recommendations for optimization or decommissioning. Process and Workflow Development: experience in designing and implementing structured processes for managing software requests, including developing associated forms and workflows in Jira Service Management (JSM) to support a compliant and efficient approval process. Essential Requirements: Technical Skills: advanced proficiency in Atlassian product suite, with a focus on Jira Service Management (JSM) for process development and management, along with strong knowledge of application management and security standards. Documentation Skills: proficiency in creating clear, structured, and detailed documentation for technical assessments, processes, and recommendations. Problem-Solving Abilities: strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate issues and provide practical effective solutions.
