Systems and Software Engineer (Lead) Systems Engineer (Minor Systems) 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from ARIS•ZINC GROUP Systems and Software Engineer (Lead) Systems Engineer (Minor Systems) Canberra Based Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance mandatory Length of Contract: 4 months Specific Duty Statement/Job Criteria: Lead, plan and deliver critical and very complex engineering activities and provide engineering advice, under broad direction. Accountable for exercising assigned engineering authorities and any Technical Regulatory Authority delegations, including authorising up to Class 1 non-significant ECPs. Work collaboratively, communicate effectively, providing advice and assistance to Minor Systems - System Managers, LCSS SPO members and external stakeholders. Support the engineering and configuration management activities of the CA40 Minor Systems team, including engineering audits of support services. Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports required for Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and LCSS SPO Engineering Review Boards (ERB). Represent Minor Systems at the LCSS SPO Engineering Review Boards (ERB). Develop or review capability engineering and procedural documentation. Evaluate technical and design packages including scoping, planning, and reviewing and implement actions. Perform quality control on engineering documentation submitted to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) by the various vendors or staff within the SPO. Attain Technical Authority (TA) commensurate with experience, knowledge and qualifications but to a minimum of TA level 4. Review or Approval all technical documentation delivered to or created within Minor systems. Experience and Skills Sought/Required: The required experience and skills are: Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience. ICT system support management. In-depth knowledge of ICT. Understanding of Defence’s Technical Frameworks and Policies.
