Tradewind are working with an independent co-educational school in Southwest Sydney, that are seeking a passionate TAS teacher to join them in the role of Head of Department on a full-time, permanent basis starting Term 1, 2025. This is a unique opportunity to lead the TAS department and support students and staff alike. As well as the leadership element of the role, the successful candidate will teach Stage 6 Industrial Technology and/or Food Technology. Key Responsibilities: Teach Stage 6 Food Technology and Industrial Technology. Lead the TAS (Technology and Applied Studies) department to deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences. Develop, implement, and review curriculum materials and resources. Support students' academic and personal development. Uphold and contribute to the school's Christian values and mission. Key Requirements: Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in Food Technology and/or Industrial Technology. Strong communication and leadership skills. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive Christian learning environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and students. Essential Criteria: Tertiary qualification in Education. Demonstrated commitment to the school's Christian ethos. Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
